Designing Sets for the Film Industry with Taura C.C Rivera
Taura C.C. Rivera graduated from the University of N.M. with a degree in architecture. She has practiced architecture since 2004 in both New Mexico and New York. In 2013 she began working in the film industry with the SFFF and also working as set designer on shows such as Better Call Saul, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, and Preacher. She has strong knowledge in the not for profit sector, as a founding member of an organization, Babes & Bullies, that focusses on bully breed rescue and advocacy. She structured the organization and executed the process to incorporate the group as a 501(c)(3). Additionally, she organized events, acquired sponsorship, provided various medias and assisted in establishing various community programs. As a board member of the SFFF, she provides valuable services such as creative direction, graphics, acquiring sponsorships, technical support, organizing events and operations.
